A silver signature cigarette case, the cover applied with four monograms and five signatures in Cyrillic: Vl. Vitkevich, Dolgovo-Saburov, Nadya, Leontyev and A.Voronin and an enamelled nine of diamonds with a description in French ‘En tout temps bonne chance‘ – all in gold, the reverse with a Russian imperial crown, a horseshoe with a cabochon sapphire, three coats-of-arms, an elephant and signatures – all in gold, the front panel with To My Dear Friend, the side with V.Redchenkov. Inside the case is inscribed in Russian: ‘From Officers of the Erevan Regiment to L.M.Machutadze, July 13, 1898, uroch. Manglis‘ (stationed near Tiflis, now Tbilisi).
