Silver signature cigarette case, the cover applied with three monograms, two crowned, the reverse centrally applied with insignia of the Horse Guard Regiment (gold crowned double-headed eagle), with two gold monograms, facsimile signatures ‘Schmid‘ and, ‘Shevle‘ and ‘Nyetochka (I don’t want)‘ in Cyrillic.

 

Silversmith Grigory Arsenievich Andreyev was active between 1858 and 1898. A cigarette case by Andreyev is in the State Historical Museum, Moscow (ОК 19052).
