A large papier-mâché and lacquer Easter egg, the front side finely painted with a scene of the Resurrection of Christ, the reverse is with St. Nicholas on a red background with gold calligraphic inscriptions. The. masterful execution suggests that the egg was painted in Plekh workshops.
