A 20-piece silver-gilt tea set comprising teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, 12 teaspoons, tea strainer, lemon fork, sugar tongs and a sugar shovel. Silver-gilt on stippled ground, decorated in multicoloured shaded cloisonné enamel with floral pattern. Contained in the original hinged oak fitted case, lined with satin and velvet. The interior of the lid stamped with the Fabergé trademark beneath the Imperial warrant.

 

Ivan Saltykov – a renowned Russian silversmith and jeweller. In 1884, Saltykov founded a factory in Moscow, producing high-quality enamel wares.
