A silver-guild cigar hinged case with a silver push-piece. The exterior on a stippled ground decorated with shaded cloisonné enamel in oval reserves, containing a foliate pattern with stylised birds, surrounded with a turquoise-colour enamel field, with white beading under the rim.
The piece was retailed by Fabergé (Moscow Imperial Warrant mark of Fabergé is on the lip of the case, next to the push-piece).
