A silver-gilt Imperial presentation trophy of baluster shape on raised foot, decorated with a Neo-Byzantine ornament over a stippled ground, the centre set with four vacant cartouches at intervals, the upper part bears the Cyrillic inscription: “Imperial St. Petersburg Yacht Club prize for regatta racing on July 12th 1852“. The detachable cover has a similar decoration, the finial is chased and engraved as a triple Imperial eagle surmounted by the Russian Imperial crown.
