A cameo green glass box with rounded corners, the lid is decorated with a black crowned double-headed eagle, alternating monograms of Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra, and imperial crowns on the side panels. The bottom is inscribed Daum Nancy, one of the largest manufacturers of cameo glass late 19th/early 20th century. The company produced various objects to celebrate the official visit of Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra in 1896.
