A silver kovsh by Fabergé, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, enamelled with translucent green and oyster ‘scales’, the border set with faceted rubies, the shaped flat handle enamelled in translucent red and set with an emerald surrounded by silver foliate mounts. A similar kovsh by Nevalainen was sold in Sotheby’s New York on December 1, 1998 (Sale NY7227, lot 11574, estimate $15,000 – 20,000).
