Enameled silver purse, the cover with an en plein enamel posy of flowers including roses, poppies, convolvulus, and foxgloves, the reverse with dark-blue champlevé decoration enclosing engraved monogram ‘B’, further inscribed in Russian: ‘From I. and K. Kovrigin, January 9, 1880‘.

 

The merchant Maria Adler was active as jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith between 1879 and 1882.
