A silver model of a two-humped (Bactrian) camel realistically cast and chased to simulate fur, marked under foot. Contained in a contemporary leather case. A similar silver model of a camel by Neresheimer was sold in 2008 at Sotheby’s London for £9,375 (Important English Furniture and Silver, 4 June 2008, lot 285).
