A gold falcon perched on a vertical cylindrical post decorated with white translucent enamel over an etched guilloché ground, mounted on a square nephrite plinth installed on a circular base with white beading. Similar examples of bird figurines can be found in the Walters Art Museum (Pair of Cockatoos, inv. no. 57.1913) and the British Royal Collection (Pair of budgerigars, injv. no. RCIN 40482).
