A circular silver-gilt Fabergé desk clock decorated with alternating stripes of lilac and white translucent enamel over a basket-weave guilloché ground, with a hinged silver-gilt scroll strut, centred by an opaque white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and openwork gold hands, set within a silver-gilt bezel; all within a laurel-chased silver-gilt border; contained in its original fitted wooden case, lined with cream velvet and silk, the lining of the inside lid stamped in Cyrillic ‘Fabergé, St. Petersburg, Moscow‘ beneath the Imperial Warrant.
