Maison Tétard

Maison Tétard

Maison Tétard was a silversmith company based in Paris that specialised in tableware. It was established by Hugo Tétard in 1851, and began making silver in the ‘style moderne’ (the original term for Art Deco) during the 1920s under the leadership of artistic director Valéry Bizouard (1875-1945). The interwar years proved especially fruitful for Maison Tétard, which, alongside Puiforcat and Christofle, was recognised as a preeminent manufacturer of Art Deco silver in France.
